Foodbox Kft. is a 100% Hungarian-owned company founded by dedicated entrepreneurs with decades of experience in the hospitality, food industry, and trade sectors.
Our production takes place at the state-of-the-art facility in Vértesszőlős, which opened in September 2017, where we utilize the latest food industry technologies. This ensures both the high quality of our products and the production conditions for gluten- and lactose-free products, which require special handling.
Our latest development includes Foodbox FITT tray meals, designed for health-conscious consumers. We are continuously expanding our selection in this category.
Why it’s healthy
We don’t compromise – our products are always made from fresh, selected, and natural ingredients.
To preserve the high quality and naturalness of our products, we do not use additives, antioxidants, preservatives, colorants, or flavor enhancers.
Thanks to our carefully developed gentle heat treatment process, Foodbox products can be kept refrigerated for up to 30 days.
With the most advanced manufacturing technology and a strict quality control system, our facility is also suitable for producing gluten-free and lactose-free products.
Our comprehensive and precisely regulated manufacturing technology covers ingredient sourcing, storage, preparation, cooking, food processing, serving, sealing, heat treatment, cooling and storage, individual and bulk packaging, and delivery.
We check and qualify all our suppliers for the ingredients used.
We request product specifications from the manufacturers, in which they confirm the quality, allergen, GMO, and additive-free status.
For meat products, we use only skinless raw materials.
For rice-based dishes, we use only the highest quality “Jasmine” rice.
For pasta-based dishes, we use the finest quality imported Italian pasta, which contains no eggs (durum wheat pasta).
Allergen ingredients are clearly marked in bold.
• The allergen content varies by food type.
• Pasta dishes: wheat flour (gluten). Our pasta does not contain eggs.
• Dairy-based dishes: casein, lactose
• Soy-based dishes: soy
• Our manufacturing technology ensures the avoidance of cross-contamination from allergens.
We achieve the long shelf life of our products through heat treatment, without using preservatives.
