Brief description of the project: Foodbox Kft is carrying out a complex technological development and an investment aimed at improving environmental resource efficiency at its food industry plant in Vértesszőlős. The project is related to the company’s core activity, the production of ready meals. The following activities will be implemented within the framework of the project:
– Procurement of an automated food packaging and conveyor system
– Procurement of a deep-freezing chamber
– Procurement of a shock freezer chamber for finished products
– Installation of a 50.0 kW solar power system
The project’s complex developments contribute to increasing the added value of domestic agricultural products and support their access to markets. The investment improves the company’s competitiveness, promotes job retention, and provides a market for raw materials from local producers. The project supports the goal of ensuring that an increasing proportion of Hungary’s food supply is sourced from domestic resources.
